The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has summoned nine public service vehicle operators over serious safety concerns. The affected operators have been directed to appear before the Authority on September 8, 2026.
In a public notice issued on August 31, NTSA said it had taken action after observing safety concerns involving the listed PSV operators.
“In exercising its powers, the Authority has summoned a number of public service vehicle operators after observing serious safety concerns,” the notice read.
Among the operators summoned is Moyale Raha Transporter’s Company Limited, which has been directed to appear before NTSA on September 3, 2026.
The other eight operators are Etams Classic Limited, Eastern Link Travellers Company Limited and Manchester Travellers Coach Limited. Also summoned are Lake Naivasha Mai-Mahiu Line Service Limited and Sabaki Travellers Saving and Credit Co-operative Society Limited.
Lumasa County Sacco, Bluemarks Shuttles Sacco Limited and Nyamira Luxury Express Company Limited were also listed in the notice.
“The operators are required to appear before the Authority on 8th September 2026,” the Authority further stated, even though it did not provide further details on the specific safety concerns linked to each operator.
However, the summons signals increased scrutiny of PSV operators as NTSA continues to enforce road safety standards across the country.
