5-Family Members Suspected for Murder, Killed by Enraged Villagers in Kisii

Five members of the same family who are suspected to have been involved in the murder of a middle-aged man, killed by angry villagers in Metembe village, Masimba Ward in Kisii County.

The villagers alleged that the family of the five, murdered some middle-aged man whose body was found dead nearly a month ago.

Among the victims were the father and mother of the family. Two other family members managed to escape the attack which happened Thursday, last night.

As though killing the five was very least important, the villagers who were breathing fire and brimstone went ahead to put onto flames six houses belonging to the suspected family, raising the properties down to ashes.

The bodies of the five victims have reportedly taken to the mortuary at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital as police continue with probe onto the matter.
