Eric Omondi Aids A Jobless Single Father Establish His Own Business

Comedian-turned-philanthropist Eric Omondi has yet proven that good people still exists by coming to the aid of a needy single father who was mistreated by a shopkeeper due to Sh.100 debt.

In a viral video, a man dubbed as Boniface Nyabuti was physically assaulted by a shopkeeper he was owing Sh.100. Lucky, Nyabuti’s son, was seen attempting to save his father from the irate shopkeeper. The situation led to a furious dispute between the parties.

The video circulated on social media as netizens sympathized with the victim and his son. Through his social media accounts, Omondi posted the video and asked online users to support Nyabuti in opening his own store. The single father was able to open a new shop thanks to the Sh. 657,000 raised by internet users. Since Lucky is the main character and the protagonist of the entire story, the store was dubbed Baba Lucky.

Omondi began Baba Lucky’s new chapter in life by loading stock into his shop with the aid of kind-hearted Kenyans. Lucky and his dad were beaming from ear to ear and could not contain their happiness.
