Safaricom PLC has announced an adjustment on their services after Court of Appeal lifted the suspension of Finance bill 2023 yesterday.
According to Safaricom, the enactment of the bill into law will see their exercise duty charged on mobile transfers increase from 12 to 15% and a decrease of the duty on telecommunications services ( call, fibre, data, and sms) from 20 to 15%.
The adjustments will take effect from 29th July 2023
