Authorities are looking into an incident where a man fell from a building’s 12th floor and died in Nairobi’s Kasarani neighborhood.
The occurrence was categorized by police as a suicide. On February 22, it took place close to USIU University. When the police were summoned, they were informed that a person had fallen off the building and was lying face down.
The body’s skull was fractured, and brain matter was scattered over the parking lot. After being identified, the body was taken to the mortuary for an autopsy. A man’s body was discovered hanging from a balcony on the first floor in the Zimmerman Kwa Masai neighborhood.
Geoffrey Gachago Mbothe, 30, was found dead on the balcony, hanging from a piece of a bed sheet, when police arrived on the scene. His wife reportedly informed police that two weeks prior, the man had written on his Facebook status that he would commit himself. But, family members got involved and resolved the problem.
It is believed that a conflict between the couple on Tuesday led to the woman leaving the house and spending the night at her lovely home in Kahawa West, which is what ultimately led to the suicide mission. According to police, seven suicide instances were reported on Wednesday alone, and they have called the trend disturbing.
