Yesu Wa Tongaren’s Remarks On People With Dreadlocks After Meeting Journalist Jahmby Koikai

Media personality Jahmby Koikai has shown discontent after the self-proclaimed Yesu wa Tongaren concluded that she won’t make it to heaven due to her dreadlocks. This is after she visited him in his home in Bungoma county.

The media personality shared her photo in her Instagram account as she posed with Yesu wa Tongaren, his wife and another man. In the caption, Koikai stated that the Bungoma “Jesus” told her that everyone who has dreadlocks won’t be allowed in heaven. The former Dagoretti South parliamentary aspirant also revealed that she had gone to Bungoma county for a gig but she decided to pass by Yesu Wa Tongaren’s house.

“Easter Sunday nilikuwa Bungoma for a gig but kwanza nikapitia Yesu wa Tongaren (Jesus of Tongaren). Aliniambia sitaenda mbinguni kwa sababu ya hizi Rasta zangu…” she captioned the photo.

Koikai’s fans reacted to the statement as most of them took it as a joke. The following are some of the comments:

Jasento_ngumo playfully indicated that only the baldheaded are allowed in heaven.

Mwendemacharia told Koikai to greet Yesu wa Tongaren as she is his follower from Nairobi county.

Sandra.wairimu hilariously asked whether there is barber shop in heaven.

Hokaj_opati asked where the Rasta people will go with their kind hearts.

People with dreadlocks seem to face a lot of criticism especially from “men of God”. Pastor Ezekiel of New life Prayer Centre is also against women with dreadlocks. In his view, such women never lasts in marriage and most of them are never in a committed relationship.
