Makadara Law Courts have charged some woman with assault on male employee on June 13, at a kitchen outlet in workplace, in Nairobi.
During the first hearing, the court noted that the woman who is of Asian descent, while in company of some individuals, unlawfully attacked and assaulted the victim inflicting bodily harm on him, thereby committing a crime against Section 251 of the Penal Code.
While noting further details surrounding the incident, court highlighted that the suspect physically confronted the victim imposing bodily injuries to him.
In his statement before the Principal Magistrate Irene Gichobi, the complainant revealed that his life was threatened alleging that a witness in the case had also been compromised to obstruct him from finding justice.
However, the Magistrate has instructed the Corporal from Embakasi Police Station to launch a search for the remaining witnesses to be brought before the court in order accomplish the hearing of the case before issuing verdict.
