Why Akothee’s Sister, Cebbie Koks, Never Attended Her Wedding

Akothee’s sister, Cebbie Koks, has faced a lot of criticism after she failed to attend the artist’s Easter holiday wedding.

Koks shared a video of herself alongside her two friends in a Plus Size event on that fateful day. She revealed that she had attended the event in Kisumu in order to support the Plus Size women.

“Hi guys we are here for Kisumu plus size fashion. This is Imperial Sarova,” she said.

Netizens criticized her actions since it was her sister’s big day. Some said that she should have supported her eldest sister and forget the beef they’ve been holding against each other for over one year. Others stated that they were only paying attention to the artist’s wedding and nothing more.

Last year, Koks wedded her lawyer lover, Steve Ogolla, and “the president of single mothers” never attended the event. Akothee cited her absence with a strained relationship. Their beef forced them to cut ties despite their blood relation. Koks missing Akothee’s wedding seems to be a tit for tat game. The two have never disclosed the genesis of their beef.

“We are having another event in December which I am also happy about. I am so happy. From the bottom of my heart, I mean well. The only thing is I was not going to go to that wedding anyway because me and my younger sister have not been in good terms for close to a year now, maybe you do not know. I haven’t said she is evil but I packed my bags out of that relationship,” Akothee previously stated.

Akothee wedded Omosh on Monday in a colourful garden wedding at Windsor Golf Club. The ceremony was attended by various renown personalities in Kenya who graced the event by showering the couple with expensive gifts. The guests had also dressed up in their best outfits and someone could have mistaken the wedding ceremony with a fashion show.
