Ringtone Apoko: I Had Plans To Marry Akothee

Kenyan gospel artist, Ringtone Apoko, has disclosed his previous plans on marrying artist and businesswoman Esther Akoth alias Akothee. Akothee wedded her lover Omosh on Easter Monday holiday in a garden wedding at Windsor Golf Club.

As other uninvited personalities are complaining and making their remarks on the wedding, the controversial gospel artist has come out to speak out his mind in an interview with bloggers. Apoko confessed his undying love for the founder of Akothee Safaris. He added that he had intended to marry her just in case he didn’t find a lady who is suitable for marrying.

Apoko who is known for chasing clout, also indicated that he had already written a cheque of Sh.999,000 as a wedding gift to the new couple in town. Even though he wasn’t among the invited guests, he stated that he had to present his gift to the mother of five. He boasted by stating that if he was invited, there wouldn’t be enough landing space as he would have landed with several helicopters.

“I have written a cheque for 999k to Esther Akoth, I love Akothee very much, and one day, I was planning to marry Akothee if I didn’t have a woman to marry,” Apoko said.

He also made a controversial statement in which he stated that Akothee was “never married but rather she married” Omosh. Apoko playfully stated that omosh will be the one carrying out household chores as he pitied him.

“Akothee hakuolewa, alioa. Yule hawezi olewa. Na Omosh akicheza anapigwa akikataa kufanya kazi za ndani atapigwa. Pale Omosh pengine alipenda Akothee lakini hakumjua vizuri. Pale kupigwa nako atapigwa sana. Lakini asiogope kusema maana sisi ndio tutamtetea,” Apoko stated.

The self-proclaimed chairman of gospel artists added that he can now marry since Akothee is off the market. He concluded by stating that only the hungry people were invited in the wedding since the two billionaire artists, that is, him and KRG The Don, were never invited.
