Nairobi, 6th December 2025 – The Singleton, a premium single malt whisky, continued its support as a sponsor of the fourth edition of the Meat Up Fest, held at the EABL Microbrewery. Under the theme ‘The December Roast and Toast,’ the event united lovers of whisky and barbecue for a celebration of authentic craft and flavour.
“The Singleton’s ongoing partnership with Meat Up Fest allows us to engage deeply with a community that cherishes good food and fine whisky,” said Simon Lapyem, The Singleton Brand Manager for East Africa (EABL). “Witnessing guest explore the versatility of our whisky is the embodiment of the experiences we enjoy creating.”
Having evolved from a niche gathering into a premier gastronomic event, Meat Up Fest has redefined the local barbecue tradition. It has artfully elevated Nyama Choma by introducing exceptional cuts, expert spicing and Singleton whisky integrations. The fourth edition featured eight dedicated culinary stations focused on Beef, Pork, Mbuzi, Kuku and complementary stations offering salads and starch accompaniments for a fully immersive experience.
Throughout the experience, guests enjoyed The Singleton neat, over ice and within specially curated cocktails. The whisky’s signature notes of honey, ripe fruit, and subtle spice provided a perfect complement to the rich, smoky flavours of the barbecue, enhancing the overall sensory experience.
Through this sustained partnership, The Singleton and Meat Up Fest have successfully transformed the Kenyan barbecue into a highly anticipated experience.
By constantly aligning with platforms dedicated to craftsmanship and refined taste, The Singleton continues to solidify its position as the whisky of choice for discerning consumers and elevated moments.
