The task group, which received its official notice in December 2022, has 90 days to close any operational deficiencies in the police department and enhance the working conditions for security personnel.
Yet according to the President’s order, the task force is anticipated to finish its work in May. The task force’s chairman is retired Chief Justice David Maraga. Carole Kariuki is his deputy on the task force, which has 20 members altogether.
The task committee will include Moffat Kangi, a former principal administrative secretary, John Ole Moyaki, Ibrahim Jillo Guyo, Richard Kirundi, Elizabeth Mueni, and Roseline Odede.
