Raila: We Are Taking Gachagua to Hague

Azimio chief leader Raila Odinga threatens to sue Rigathi Gachagua to ICC, accusing him over alleged attempt of assassination following claims over live bullet shootings on the Azimio leader’s vehicle during anti-government protests.

The former Prime Minister while addressing supporters of Azimio on Sunday, April 16, linked DP Gachagua with claims of live bullet firings adding that the police received orders from Gachagua.
While vividly describing the firing incident, Raila said the police firstly lobbed teargas at his car that he struggled to miss being hit. It was until then that eleven live bullets started raining at his vehicle.

He said:

Gachagua is an accused person , this coming week we are taking his name to ICC, he said he wanted to finish me once and for all.”

Raila further claimed that the police officers are wrongly used by the state to commit bad actions like destroying lives of peaceful protesters.

We are taking Gachagua to the Hague, with all the officers we have their names. The officers are being used by the state.” He added.
