African Brotherhood Church Bishop Timothy Ndambuki has urged the voice of reason to take precedence in the nation notwithstanding political divisions.

Ndambuki advised elected officials holding positions ranging from the MCA to the presidency to refrain from seeking retribution against their actual or imagined adversaries. Violence, according to him, was unnecessary in the nation.

“Kenyans, let’s promote peace for the prosperity of our nation. Violence must be rejected in favor of the voice of reason, according to Ndambuki.

On Sunday, April 16, the bishop spoke to the faithful during Lower Eastern interdenominational prayers in Machakos County.

“At all levels of government, we as the Church demand justice. Don’t seek retribution; doing so could have many negative effects, said Ndambuki.

In attendance are President William Ruto, his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, a number of cabinet secretaries, local leaders, and religious leaders. The president and his team are being hosted by Governor Wavinya Ndeti and her deputy Francis Mwangangi of Machakos. Ndambuki argued that peace is progress and that Kenyans must embrace it. He asserted that Ruto’s election as president was God’s will.
