President William Ruto has told off critics who do not have an agenda for the country.
During the launch of the Kenya Off-Grid Solar Access Project (KOSAP) on Ndau Island, Lamu County, on February 27, Ruto seemingly responded to Gachagua, who has been critical of his administration. On Tuesday, Gachagua laughed off the new alliance of Ruto and Raila as he said they both have nothing new to offer to the Kenyans. He went on to say that his former boss is a liar who does not have the interest of Kenyans at hand.
William Ruto has now responded by urging Kenyans not to listen to people who do not have anything to offer. “Do not listen to the people without an agenda. I have been listening to them speaking on social media platforms, radio, and TV, and I have realised their main agenda is to remove me from office. Other than that, they have no development plan to propel the country forward. Don’t allow us to be divided on tribal merits.” He said.
Raila and Ruto met earlier this week in Mombasa, as Raila is expected to announce a way forward in his political journey.
