President William Ruto Attacks Rigathi Gachagua In Vihiga

President William Ruto has finally broken his silence after several attacks from Rigathi Gachagua.

Rigathi Gachagua and William Ruto were a working pair after they both won the 2022 elections against Raila Odinga and Martha Karua. Things started going south, and in late 2024, the former Mathira member of Parliament, Rigathi Gachagua, was impeached after a successful motion was brought by Mwengi Mutuse. He was replaced by Kithure Kindiki as the second in command since then.

While speaking in Vihiga County on Wednesday, William Ruto revealed that Gachagua was ousted due to his incompetent leadership. “He is advancing divisive politics. They should look for a transformative agenda. These Kenyans cannot buy politics of division and hate. We gave them work, but because of incompetence, they do not understand; they are deceptive and corrupt, and their plan failed.” He said.

Since he was impeached, Gachagu has not been silent and has been calling out his former boss, William Ruto, for betraying the people of Mt. Kenya when they largely supported him.
