International Criminal Court (ICC) witness Paul Gicheru was found dead yesterday on Monday, September 26 in his home Karen Nairobi County, as reported by his family members.
According to the police, the cause of his death is yet to be known as Gicheru was all well until when he took lunch, complained of feeling sick and retired to bed later to be discovered unresponsive at around 7pm. Police confirmed that the lawyer had foam in his mouth as they opened probe to investigate the matter.
The 52 year old, had recently closed the ICC court case where he was accused with six counts of bribery including interfering with witnesses to renounce testimonials against President William Ruto and journalist Joshua Arap Sang who were charged with crimes against humanity in the post election violence of 2007-2008 in The Hague, Netherlands.
