Nelly Cheboi bags Mountainous Cash for being named new CNN hero

29-years old Nelly Cheboi, the TechLit Africa CEO, does know the taste of sweat of a hard worker. Today, she has been crowned the new hero of CNN following her good work of distributing computers for children in her village, through her company.

While receiving showers of praises during the award giving event held at the American Museum of Natural history, the Kenyan philanthropist Nelly Cheboi glimmered with a lot of determination to achieve her key goals for the company.

“We need to rewrite what it means to grow up in rural Africa because people can work glamorous jobs and still work in your community.” She added while delivering her speech.

If you think it’s soon ending on her side, you must be the dream killer of the software engineer Nelly Cheboi, the new hero in town. She is more ambitious and only sleeps to dream how she can reach more children and introduce them to the world of computers at a tender age.

She affirmed that motive in her speech as follows, “I want to get to 100 schools which translates to 40,000 school-going children.”

Becoming a hero of CNN is not like waking up to early in the morning, stretch and get back into the blankets. It’s not only about receiving handful clapping to motivate your efforts, it comes along with more benefits that will see Mrs Cheboi walk along with Ksh 12.3 Million to help her continue with her work.

Additionally, She will also receive Ksh 1.23 million cash award together with the other top 10 heroes, grants, organization training and support from the elevate prize foundation.

Imagine that’s still not enough way to celebrate a CNN hero. She will immediately get another fat pocket after being named an Elevate Prize winner. That requires her to have an enormous bank account that can accommodate $300,000, equivalent to ksh 37 million along with grant and additional support worth Sh24.6 million for her nonprofit work.

What a mountainous way to celebrate hard workers! Congratulations to her
