Kindiki Reveals Being Approached to Oppose Ruto

Deputy President Kithure now reveals being approached by numerous high-profile individuals persuading him to politically stand against his senior President William Ruto.

The second-in-command disclosed this, while leading the presidential team that commenced a tour on Mt Kenya, on Tuesday on April 1.

Speaking at Ng’arachi Comprehensive School in Laikipia County, Kindiki said that a section of leaders have been reaching out to him to inquire why he has not been on the opposing side criticizing the style of governance of President William Ruto.

Kindiki added that several leaders who are against the government of President William Ruto, wants him to confront the Head of State particularly on issues affecting Kenyans.

There are people who have begun advising me, questioning why I am reluctant to fight the president. Since when did the deputy president fight with the head of state?” Kindiki questioned.

However, the DP trashed the motives behind those advising him to push and pull against Ruto, openly keeping a firm stand to continue working closely with the President to help him solve the issues affecting Kenyans.

He reminded his ‘ill advisors’ to keep off, saying he is aware of his responsibilities as the DP including supporting and defending the president and ensuring the plights of Kenyans are taken into account.

He further reminded them to vacate to the opposition side if they want to be the watchdogs of the current regime.
