Kenyan Actress Bridget Shighadi Confirms Breakup with Nick Mutuma

Kenyan actress Bridget Shighadi has publicly confirmed that she is currently single after parting ways with her former partner, Nick Mutuma, who is also the father of her child. The revelation was made during a Q&A session with her fans on her instastories, putting an end to speculations that had been circulating about their relationship.

When asked directly if she was single, Bridget answered with a simple “Yes,” indicating that she had indeed ended her romantic involvement with Nick Mutuma some time ago.

Their separation had been suspected by fans since the couple hadn’t been seen together for a considerable period, even celebrating their daughter’s birthday separately. In July of the previous year, Nick was notably absent during Bridget’s 31st birthday celebration, which fueled further speculation.

In a previous interview, Bridget had shared that she had known Nick since high school and their relationship had been on and off before they had their daughter, Dua. However, since becoming parents, they had been together for about three years at the time of the interview.

When asked about making their relationship official and getting married, Bridget explained that they were in no rush. They preferred to focus on their careers and raising their daughter while building a strong foundation for their future together.

Bridget also credited her entry into the film industry to Tosh Gitonga, who offered her a role in the movie “Disconnect.”

Bridget Shighadi has finally confirmed her single status after breaking up with Nick Mutuma, and she seems content to take her time before considering any formal marriage plans. For now, her focus remains on her career and being a devoted mother to their daughter.
