Kenya Power Confirms Nationwide Power Outage

Kenya Power and Lighting Company has confirmed nationwide power outages affecting millions of their consumers in Kenya.

In a statement issued by the power supplier, the company link the blackouts and loss of bulk power supply to a system disturbance.

” We have lost power supply to various part of the country due to a system disturbance and we are working to restore normalcy within the shortest time possible.’’ Said Kenya Power in a statement

Several Kenyans had took social media to protest the power outages affecting their businesses and normal operations, online fury that prompted the KPLC to issue a clarification.
