Media personality and Obinna’s co-host Kamene Goro will soon be exiting Kiss FM as the breakfast show host.
The news was shared by Kamene’s undisclosed close ally to a media house. The source revealed that Friday will be Kamene’s last day on air.
“Yes, Kamene is leaving, Friday is her last day. The company has already sought out an equally influential host to take over the breakfast show.” The source stated.
Kamene Goro started her media career as a reporter and Prime Time news anchor at the Ebru TV, which she quit in September in 2015 but later returned in 2017 and took up the position of head of news.She however did not stay for long as she again quit later the same year.
After that, Kamene started co-hosting the NRG Radio breakfast show with the controversial media personality, Andrew Kibe. The duo wholesomely joined Kiss 100 in June 2019. Kibe left and was replaced by Jalang’o.
Kamene is also known for her bold and candid approach to discussing various social issues on her show and often uses her platform to raise awareness about important social issues such as mental health and women’s rights.
