Kalonzo Musyoka Says Azimio Will Form Shadow Cabinet To Keep Ruto In Check

In order to hold the administration accountable, Azimio coalition members, according to Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will be named as shadow Cabinet secretaries.

Following their leader Raila Odinga’s return to the nation from his international tour of India, Kalonzo stated that they would make the announcement.

The cabinet, he said, would have a complete budget that they will present.

“We have nowhere else to go; this is the only country we can call home. We must support one another and ensure that the people are served by the administration “Kalonzo remarked.

He stated that the coalition will do its best to play the oppositional role.

“When we perform our duties, we want to ask the President not to become angry.”

Speaking on Saturday at the funeral service for Stanley Aluma Omollo, the deceased father of Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma, was Kalonzo.

If Raila were to become Kenya’s fifth president, he had described the composition of his government on May 16.

As well as serving as CS for Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Martha Karua would have been the Deputy President.

Chief Cabinet Secretary in the cabinet was Kalonzo’s new title.

Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya would have served as the National Treasury CS, and former National Assembly Speaker Kenneth Marende would have served as Senate Speaker.

Peter Munya would have continued in his position as the Secretary for Agriculture while also serving as the Chairperson of the Kenya Productive Sector.

Ali Hassan Joho, a former governor of Mombasa, would be the Lands CS, and one of his duties would be to combat historical land injustices on the Coast and throughout the nation.
