Jackton Odhiambo Pleads With Court To Release Him On Bond To Feed His Family

Jackton Odhiambo, the prime suspect in the murder of Edwin Chiloba, has requested court to release him on bond so that he can be able to feed his family.

Odhiambo has claimed that his photography work has kept his family going and that the family will not survive if he remains in police custody.

“I request to be released on bond so that I can continue with my work to support my family.”

Eldoret South DCI boss Stephen Mumba had made an application requesting the court to allow the police to detain the suspects to enable them to conclude the investigation.

“We need 21 days to complete investigations because a postmortem exercise is yet to be done.”

Stephen Mumba said the vehicle which was used to ferry and dump the body- and the house where he lived had to be subjected to forensic examination as well as get a CCTV footage from the place where Chiloba was last seen alive.

He added that the suspects are at risk if released on bail and there are other suspects who need to be arrested.
