Heartwarming Moments as Diamond Receives State Honour during Wasafi FM launch

Bongo flava king of artists Diamond Platinumz, today received honour from the state of Zanzibar, as the country’s president eventually attends Diamond’s Official launching of the new Wasafi FM studios.

This marks accomplishment of Diamond’s next media house other than a radio and a TV station already established at Dar es Salaam. This achievement will see the award-winning East African singer expand his money boundaries as it is expected that he will fatten his pockets from the revenues likely to accrue from the asset.

Expectedly, the occasion was attended by state profiles headed by the father of Zanzibar President Dr Hassan Ali Mwinyi, who praised the star for being industrious in his moves which has contributed hugely in providing employment opportunities to several young people through music and media house.

Another figure from the state that graced the occasion was Dr Suleiman Abdallah Salim, who is in charge of the related Ministry (Katibu Mtendaji wa Tume ya Utangazaji Zanzibar) among others

Having had a successful launch of his new media house, the ‘number one’ hit maker penned a message of appreciation to acknowledge the attendance of President Mwinyi for the great honour of accepting to dine together on one table celebrating this achievement.

“We go the blessing of officially opening our new Wafasi Media studio in Zanzibar with the help of President Hassan Ali Mwinyi. We also got our license for Wasafi Media renewed so that we can continue operating as a media house,” Diamond said.

This signals a good start of the broadcasting house in Zanzibar and so shall we wait to enjoy the juices from it’s fruits.
