Eliud Kipchoge, dubbed the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) in the marathon world, has joined billions of people worldwide in mourning the death of 24-year-old Kelvin Kiptum which broke airwaves at the dawn of 12th Monday, February 2024.
Taking his deepest condolences to the family and relatives of world marathon record holder, Kiptum via his socials; Eliud Kipchoge emotionally described Kiptum’s demise as a great loss to the entire globe.
He recognized Kiptum’s brilliance in the athlete world, saying he would have achieved much more would he had gotten his lungs pumping for years.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic passing of the Marathon World record holder Kelvin Kiptum,” read in part of his post.
