KCSE 2022: Education CS Ezekiel Machogu Set to Unveil Results Today

The Education Cabinet Secretary Mr Ezekiel Machogu is set to release the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) today, at the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) headquarters in Nairobi.

This comes after barely one month since the end of the national examination, which saw the 2022 lot of candidates wind up their four-year basic education at secondary level.

In the previous year’s registration list, a total of 884, 263 sat for their papers and are anxiously waiting to hear whatever each one of them have harvested, after four years of heavy investment in secondary learning.

From the data available at the Ministry of Education, the number of females who sat for the 2022 KCSE is 14, 883 higher than the number of males across the country.

Female candidates hit the mark of 420, 885 while male candidates were 405, 962. These sum up to a total of 884, 263 candidates.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway at the KNEC headquarters. A number of stakeholders are reportedly arriving at the Deniss Pritt road, the venue of the exam releasing centre, ready to applaud the learners for their performance.

Anytime from now, the results will be released after the Education CS Ezekiel Machogu is done presenting the results to the Head of State His Excellency President Hon. William Samoei Ruto for approval.

We wish to congratulate learners in advance, most especially, those that will be confirmed to have emerged victoriously.
