DP Rigathi Gachagua Settles at His New Office At Harambee House Annex

Rigathi Gachgua who served as the Mathira Member of Parliament on a one term before he was elected Deputy President in the August 9 polls has now moved to his new office at Harambee Annex office.

Gachagua accompanied by his wife, church Bishop and other senior staff in his office took time to bless and commit the work done in that office to God before beginning to deliver to his mandate as the second in command and as he serve to help the President in managing the affairs of the nation.

“We are now ready to work and change our country’s trajectory towards recovery. I have settled at my new office at Harambee House Annex and it’s all systems go. I thank the senior staff at the office of the Deputy President for the very exhaustive brief and the assurance of them being efficient in running the office and service delivery to the people of Kenya.” a statement stated.

The DP in an interview yesterday with KTN news announced that he is yet to move to the state official residence in Karen as he claimed that he has not come into terms with the fact that he is Kenya’s Deputy President.

“The things are going around me are very momentous. I’m yet to acclimatize, digest and accept the new situation and the status and all. It iis very overwhelming. I will need to take some time but in due course I will move into the official residence.” He said.

President William Ruto who previously occupied the Deputy President’s office for 10 years will now move to Harambee House where his office is.
