DCI Ex Boss George Kinoti Hands Over Office After Resigning

The 11th Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti handed over the office this morning to the new acting Director General Dr.Hamisi Masa.

Kinoti’s resignation was announced by The president William Ruto days ago.

Kinoti has handed over the office to Dr. Masa after serving in that capacity for 4years and 8 months.Masa was the Deputy Director General of Criminal Investigations before being apointed as the acting Director of Criminal Investigations by the National Police Service Commission.

According to a report by the DCI ,Kinoti has served the country for 30 years,after joining the Kenya Police in 1992 as a recruit constabe and over the years have climbed the ranks all the way to become the country’s top detective.
