Court Stops FKF Elections Scheduled for Saturday

Kitui High Court has on Friday, November 8, halted the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) branch elections scheduled for Saturday, following a petition filed by a group identified as Kenya Football Association, which claims to be the rightful body supposed to oversee the elections.

Consequently, the Kitui High Court has issued orders to block the elections slated on Saturday November 9, across the 48 branches in all the 47 counties countrywide.

Confirming the court ruling via their social media post, the FKF Elections Board announced that they are abiding with the court verdict to suspend the expected elections.
