Following consecutive days of unending tale about controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie and the kind of teachings he spreads to his followers, President William has eventually come out to vocal his say concerning the matter, currently termed the ‘Shakahola Massacre’

According to the Head of State who sounded well-informed about the virally spreading information revolving on Pastor Mackenzie’s cult church, such a man of god is not anointed to serve in the Kingdom of God but is a wolf dressed in a sheep skin terming him a criminal.

In regards to that, the President asked that all perpetrators of such ill teachings belongs nowhere except in the jail.

Speaking on Monday addressing the issue, Ruto said that others who are masquerading as religious leaders yet their actions are completely astray to the teachings of the word of God will face the law, this is inclusive of controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie of the New Gospel International Church

What we are seeing in Kilifi, Shakahola is a kin to terrorism. There is no difference between Mr Mackenzie who pretends and postures as a pastor when in fact he is a terrible criminal,” said President Ruto.

He added.

Terrorist use religion to advance their heinous acts. People like Mackenzie are using religion to do the same thing… Let me say for the avoidance of doubt that people like Mackenzie and all other terrorists and criminals do not belong to any religion, they belong to jail and that is where they should be.”

Moreover, Ruto revealed that his governance has ordered agencies to step up on the matter and carry out intensive investigation to dig deeper into the root cause of activities of religious or people who want to use religion to advance unacceptable ideology in the Republic of Kenya, that is causing unnecessary loss of lives.

Should any institution or any individual be found culprit and doers of actions going against the Constitution of Kenya, they shall be prosecuted accordingly and such institutions closed down indefinitely because they are working against the collective interest of the people of Kenya
