Boni Khalwale Defends CS Justin Muturi Amidst Impeachment Calls

Boni Khalwale has defended CS Justin Muturi after calls to have him sacked were made.

Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi found himself on the wrong side of the government last month after his sentiments. The former speaker of the national assembly held a press conference where he demanded answers from the government following his abductions and also demanded that the government stop the cases of abductions. In the eve of the events, members of Parliament allied to the president, William Ruto, said he was wrong and that he would be impeached if he did not resign.
However, Muturi dared the MPs to bring on the impeachment motion.

Boni Khalwale has now defended Muturi from the impeachment threats he received. “I would like to tell you that there are people who want to incite you about Justin Muturi. His son was abducted. As a parent, if your child is abducted, you would not be happy either. Now that Muturi is angry and wants to know who kidnapped his son, people are saying, ‘Muturi must resign, ‘Muturi must be sacked’.” he said.

He urged the president not to listen to the people who want Muturi sacked.
