The battle between who is wealthier than who between comedians Oga Obinna and Eric Omondi continues to escalate. On Thursday, Obinna made a comeback after Omondi flaunted a cluster of thousand notes to prove that no politician was funding his activism acts.
The former Kiss FM presenter shared a screengrab of his bank account balance on his Instagram page as he noted that it was a prove he is wealthier than his counterpart. Obinna indicated that he didn’t intend to stoop too low but the situation forced him. He added that the screengrab only displayed the balance of one of his multiple bank accounts.
According to the media personality, Omondi is being funded by tycoon Jimmy Wanjigi. Obinna added that the comedian was only flaunting fake notes of money as he could easily identify them. Terming Omondi as Mr Project, he revealed that he would visit him to confirm if the money was legit.
“I didn’t want to stoop this low but well…This is just one of the Accounts btw. Toka kwa Wanjigi, who doesn’t know fake money when they see it?? Kesho I’ll come to confirm if YOUR money is Real and where you get it from Mr Project. Btw you don’t have to shout to make a point. We meet kesho.. Sleep Tight Mr Thong!! PUGA!!” Obinna wrote.
However, a section of fans trolled the media personality as they noted a glaring mistake in his bank account balance. Some indicated that he forgot to edit the balance before sharing it to the public. These are some of the reactions:
Mr Right host and comedian Dr Ofweneke, said: Shida tu ni hapo kwa editing lakini pesa iko sawa.
YY Comedian stated: Kwa current balance after decimal wameongeza space kubwa sana.
Meekmelly50 playfully asked the comedian why he shared the screengrab without paying him for his editing work.
Iam_georgetailor stated that Obinna’s graphic designer has failed him.
Obinna kindled the beef with his fellow comedian after he claimed that unidentified person was sponsoring Omondi’s philanthropist acts. In his response, the comedian turned activist made a swift response and flaunted millions of money on social media. This was to affirm that no one was financing him and he isn’t involved in any money laundering activities as opposed to the media personality’s earlier controversial remarks.
