Kakamega Deputy Governor Savula Assures Kenyans Amid Crucifixion Claims: ‘Yesu wa Tongaren is Safe’

Self proclaimed ‘Messiah’ Eliud Wekesa popularly known as Yesu wa Tongaren has been offered tight security as Easter activities go on globally.

The Bungoma man who recently claimed that his life was in danger, said anonymous men have been poaching him, dying to crucify him just like Jesus Christ was at such a time of the calendar.

This comes as Christians across the world are in a period where they observe Easter, which is set aside to commemorate the death of Jesus by crucifixion and his eventual rise from the dead.

However, Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula came out to ensure his safety assuring Kenyans that Yesu wa Tongaren is safe and sound.

He went ahead to rubbish claims of his crucifixion while sharing a photo of the 1981 born man to his Twitter handle. He then captioned the photo in simple sentences that he termed as tight security.

He wrote:

Yesu wa Tongaren is safe. Security is tight. Malicious people wanted to crucify him this Easter,” he tweeted.
