Vivo Energy Kenya Cites High Demand for Fuel Stock-Outs at Some Stations

Vivo Energy Kenya has attributed recent fuel shortages at some of its Shell service stations to increased demand, assuring customers that efforts are underway to restore supply.

In a statement, the company said it had “recently experienced increased demand for our products, which has resulted in temporary stock-outs at some service stations.” The firm noted that it is actively responding to the situation, adding that they are closely monitoring the situation and working continuously to replenish affected sites as quickly as possible.

Vivo Energy Kenya also acknowledged the inconvenience caused to customers, stating, appreciting customers continued patronage and while also apologizing for the inconveniences caused.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining supply across its network, saying it remains “fully committed to serving our customers reliably and ensuring that our service stations and the essential services that depend on us stay supplied.”

The update comes amid concerns from motorists over fuel availability in some areas, with the company indicating the shortages are temporary and being addressed.
