Dancehall artist KRG the Don has refuted any claims of romantic involvement with content creator Diana Marua, following a video that went viral online showing the two seemingly close during a night out. In the video, they were seen singing along to one of KRG’s songs, sparking mixed reactions among netizens. Despite the chemistry perceived by some, KRG has stated that he and Diana are just friends, and he has no intention of pursuing a romantic relationship with her.
During an interview with Ankali Ray on Milele FM, KRG dismissed the critics, clarifying that he has a strong bond with Diana, akin to that of a sister. He emphasized his love and care for her, mentioning that he is the godfather of her second child. The singer also pointed out that he doesn’t possess Diana’s contact information and only communicates with her in the presence of her husband, Bahati.
KRG’s relationship with the Bahatis has been quite amicable, as they have been spotted together on various occasions. In April, they were seen joining the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), a ruling party, where they were warmly welcomed by UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala. This association appears to be a sign of camaraderie and mutual support between the singer and the Bahati family.
It’s important to note that Bahati, who had previously contested the Mathare parliamentary seat under the Jubilee Party ticket, lost in his bid. However, despite the setback, he seemed unfazed by the viral video showcasing his wife and KRG together, reinforcing the fact that their relationship remains platonic and built on genuine friendship.
