Sombre Mood as Nakuru-Based Family Lays to Rest Lifeless Bodies of Quintuplets

The family of a Nakuru-based couple who lost five babies after delivery was thrown into a sombre mode at Nakuru Level 5 Hospital Mortuary as they assemble to pick the lifeless bodies of their infants who succumbed hours after their birth.

With only a day after the huge loss to Mr Simon Ndungu Kinyanjui and Mrs Margaret Wairimu, the family is set to lay down to rest their long awaited breathless quintuplets.

The five souls have reportedly been placed in one coffin and transported to Nakuru Level 5 Hospital’s funeral home for the burial.

While speaking to the media, Monica Kinyanjui who is Mr Simon Ndungu Kinyanjui’s sister confirmed to the public that the quintuplets didn’t die all at once.

According to her, two children died first before afternoon of Thursday February 2 while the other 3 died at 1pm.

She elaborated, “We got the news of the first two babies’ death in the morning and then at round 1pm we received the news that the others had passed on.”
