Willy Paul Faces The Wrath Of Law Over A “Hit And Run” Allegation

Controversial Kenyan artist Willy Paul aka Pozze has found himself in hot soup after been arrested for allegedly hitting a pedestrian. Police carried out a raid on his Syokimau home to ensure he was held accountable for his transgressions.

Before being taken into custody, the performer informed his followers of the danger he was about to encounter. Pozze bemoaned being sought by the police for a “hit and run” incident. He asserted that they were merely pursuing his life, clarifying that he had not engaged in any criminal activity as they implied.

The “Toto” singer called on bloggers and media outlets to arrive quickly at the scene before the lawmakers arrested him, expressing fear for his safety. He proceeded to suggest that he had been the subject of comparable accusations the previous year.

The performer seemed earnest in his statement, asking his fans to be alert in the event that he is reported missing. In the unlikely event that something strange occurred, he stated that the men in uniform ought to answer for his disappearance.

“Ive been told that there are police officers outside my house Syotani Villas waiting for me saying I knocked someone and ran away, they want to kill me!!! The same thing hapened last year. If something happens to me you mjue ni watu wamevaa uniform and theyre outside my house right now!!!” the Facebook post read.

Bloggers and local media outlets were able to secure a spot at Syotani Villas to observe the entire event. They were, nevertheless, forbidden from going inside the building. Only the gaps in the closed gates allowed them to sneak a peek.

A few hours later, the musician was taken into custody. The details of his arrest remain unclear as he provided only his version of events.
