United Opposition Leaders Touch Down in Kisumu for Final Phase of Malava By-Election Campaigns

United Opposition leaders Kalonzo Musyoka and Eugene Wamalwa arrived at Kisumu Airport on Thursday as they kicked off the third and final leg of their coordinated campaigns in support of Malava Parliamentary by-election candidate, Seth Panyako.

Their arrival marks a significant moment in the coalition’s intensified push to consolidate political support ahead of the highly anticipated by-election.The leaders, who have jointly traversed several counties over the past weeks, are expected to use the Kisumu leg to strengthen their messaging on unity, governance reforms, and what they describe as the need for a more people-centered leadership in Malava.

They will be holding a series of strategic meetings with regional party officials, engaging grassroots mobilizers, and addressing rallies aimed at energizing their support base.Kalonzo Musyoka emphasized that their united front represents a renewed commitment to collaborative political action across the country, saying the coalition intends to demonstrate that opposition unity is not just symbolic but strategic.

Eugene Wamalwa echoed the sentiment, noting that the campaigns have shown strong reception on the ground and that the final phase is focused on voter turnout and community engagement. The coalition believes Seth Panyako brings experience, stability, and a firm grasp of local issues, making him their best choice to represent Malava in Parliament.

As they embark on the final stretch of the campaign trail, the leaders are expected to make stops in key towns, hold town hall meetings, and rally supporters to turn out in large numbers during the by-election.The Malava Parliamentary by-election has attracted national attention, and the United Opposition hopes that their unified approach will help secure victory as they conclude their final round of mobilization efforts from Kisumu.
