Two suspects are being held by Kisii police in connection with the fatal stabbing of a partygoer on Easter Sunday night.
One of those detained is a woman who was reportedly with the victim just before he was enticed outside and slain by the male suspect. OCPD Nyanchwa The suspect was a 36-year-old male stalker, according to Anthony Keter. The 53-year-old victim was allegedly attacked while out having fun with the aforementioned woman.
The crime, in which a lone perpetrator enticed his victim out of the bar and into the shadows before repeatedly stabbing him in the chest, was reported to police on Sunday night.
“The 36-year-old gave off the impression that she had been observing the two lovers for several hours. He asked to speak with him and then stabbed him, left him for dead, while waiting for them to come back to the bar where they had ordered drinks “said Keter. The partygoer received emergency care at a hospital in Mosocho before being transferred to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, where he was later declared dead.
“The two suspects will be arraigned Tuesday for murder,” he told the Star on phone.
“We are still carrying out more investigations into the incident.”
