Tunarudi Phase 2: Azimio MPs Tell Press as Babu Owino Ridicule used Teargas Canisters

Azimio Mps address the press since morning as nationwide azimio anti-government protests hit midday.

While speaking outside Bunge building, the member of parliament of Embakasi East Constituency Hon.Babu Owino has questioned security enforcement unit revealing that two of their supporters have been shot dead at Jacaranda.

According to Babu, the Kenya Kwanza government is misusing security officers who he accused of using live bullets on peaceful protesters instead of using rubber bullets.

The city member of parliament however, send a stun warning to the government thag today’s protest is nothing but just the beginning as more intense cases are yet to be witnessed nearly.

He further asked the government to purchase as many teargas as possible, ridiculously saying that they really enjoyed the taste of today’s used teargas.

Buy more teargas we need them, kwanza ya Leo ilikuwa tamu sana. We need them.” Said Babu Owino as City senator Edwin Sifuna says in the background that they’re readying for the next phase.

Earlier, in the press coverage, the Azimio protesters also mockingly complained about old teargas lobbed at them saying they want to experience teargas made in 2023.
