Siaya Governor James Orengo’s daughter Lavender Orengo married the love of her life Albert in a ceremony held in Karen, Nairobi on Friday, 7 October,2022.
Orengo and his wife Betty Kaari Murungi, the sister to former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi, had the honour of walking their daughter Lavender Orengo down the aisle before handing her over to her would-be husband.
The pair exchanged vows in line with Christian doctrines as a priest officiated the wedding.
Among the attendees included former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo, Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo and Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi.
The couple had earlier done a traditional wedding at Orengo’s rural home in Ramunde, Ugenya constituency in Siaya County.
