Shes Kemunto Asks Ladies to Check on Well-being of Men During This Hard Times

Kenyan influencer Shes Kemunto has urged ladies to keep monitoring men’s mental state, saying current tight economy has hit millions of men with huge wave of depression.

Taking a long piece of advice to her social story, Kemunto reiterated that men, like women, need someone to hold their backs when going through hardest periods in their lives in order to navigate past hardships.

“Normalize asking the men in your life about their mental state. Men are going through a lot especially during this tough times with no jobs and a tight economy,” she wrote.

“To my girls, to any woman out there with a good man, please hug that man and remind him he is worthy, he is loved, he is important and he will get through anything,” she added.

While acknowledging the presence of male figure in the community, Kemunto stated that men have been forgotten by the entire society and considered superhuman to face and overcome challenges on their own.

According to her, majority of men choose to face ups and downs in life by their own because the society oftentimes judge them in any case they voice out what they are going through. She concludes by urging ladies to give ready ears and to pray for their supportive and caring men so that they would easily overcome huge waves that hit them in life.

“Sometimes we focus on us forgetting our dads, brothers, bfs, husband’s, make friends go through the same but afraid to come out coz the community will judge them. If you have that loving man, supportive, caring and respectful please don’t let him die in silence. Men need to be heard too let it not be gender based! Pray for that man in your life.”

Via Facebook, a fan by the name ‘Queen Ess’, echoed Kemunto’s sentiments saying men really matter in a woman’s life as well as in the family set-up standing up as a father statute.

“True men are such good people ? and they go through a lot and hide their agony behind loud music and club’s,Check on them and motivate them always whether in good terms or not instead of hating them coz of their flaws and the difficulties that come with meeting the ends find different ways to cherish your partner and respect them. Men matter they beautify our lives and make our babies happy. To the next man ntapenda walai sitawai kuwacha now I know what it takes to be a man after providing for myself and kids for a year,” read the fan’s comment.
