Samsung Electronics East Africa Ltd. has launched its 2024 TV and sound device line-up at the local Unbox & Discover event in Nairobi’s Capital Club.

The event featured cutting-edge models like the Neo QLED 8K and 4K, OLED TVs, and advanced sound devices.As a leader in TV manufacturing for 18 consecutive years, Samsung continues to redefine home entertainment with AI-driven solutions.

The flagship Neo QLED 8K leads Samsung’s latest offerings, powered by the advanced NQ8 AI Gen2 processor. This technology ensures exceptional picture quality with 8K AI Upscaling Pro, making every detail vivid and clear.

AI Motion Enhancer Pro and Real Depth Enhancer Pro further enhance viewing experiences, providing smoother motion and lifelike depth.Innovative AI sound technology complements the visuals on the Neo QLED 8K, featuring Active Voice Amplifier Pro and Object Tracking Sound Pro for immersive audio. Adaptive Sound Pro intelligently adjusts audio settings based on content and room acoustics, enhancing realism.Samsung’s 2024 TVs incorporate SmartThings AI capabilities for energy efficiency.

The AI Energy Saving mode reduces energy consumption by 23%, while SmartThings integration optimizes colour validation based on viewing environments, enhancing overall efficiency.The Neo QLED 8K QN800D is available in sizes of 65, 75, and 85 inches, catering to various preferences in the premium large-screen category.
