Mugithi artist Samuel Muchoki popularly known as Samidoh attended his nephew’s burial on Wednesday alongside his baby mama, Karen Nyamu.
At the burial, the nominated senator was introduced by Samidoh by his child’s name(Wairimu).
“Come and say hi, mama Wairimu,” he said.
Samidoh’s nephew, Geoffrey Mwathi alias Jeff, was buried in his home area in Nakuru after the alleged suicide in DJ Fatxo’s apartment.
Jeff who was an interior decorator, had visited Fatxo’s house to deliver some interior decor materials for his office.
The statement recorded at the police station by Fatxo revealed that the duo had been together in four different clubs where they started partying at Bliss Bistro and ended at Quiver’s Lounge.
In the CCTV footage released by the apartment’s management, Jeff and Fatxo returned to the apartment at 3 am accompanied by three unidentified ladies.
One hour later, Fatxo left the apartment with the three ladies leaving the victim in the house with two other men.
The two men were seen inspecting the apartment’s parking lot while at the same time Fatxo’s cousin is seen making several phone calls before heading back inside.
Few minutes later Jeff fell off the apartment with his pants pulled to his knees as stated by his uncle.
The post morterm conducted at the City Mortuary failed to reveal whether the victim was sexually assaulted before he met his untimely death.
Fatxo alongside the two men told police that the deceased committed suicide and they only knew of his death when Fatxo came back to the apartment.
However, Jeff’s family have indicated that they don’t believe the whole narration since the young man was not suicidal.
Earlier on, Samidoh and his wife, Edday Nderitu, parted ways following the artist’s affair with Nyamu where they were spotted together in Kamunyaka Village, Gatanga Constituency, Murang’a County on February 24, 2023, at the burial of Nancy Muthoni, sister-in-law to Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua.
On that fateful day, Nderitu was devastated by her husband’s reunion with his baby mama and she could not hide her pain anymore.
Nderitu penned an heartfelt message through her Facebook page suggesting that she would leave her marriage as she insisted that she couldn’t raise her children in a polygamous marriage.
