A suspected thug was shot and murdered early on Sunday in Nairobi’s Kasarani neighborhood during a failed robbery.
Before setting up an ambush, according to the police, the individuals who were assaulting and robbing passersby in the Roysambu neighborhood were known to them. When two suspects attacked and stole goods from female pedestrians, the crew challenged them.
According to authorities, the squad managed to shoot and kill one suspect while allowing his companion to flee on foot. The dead man was found to have a handmade gun, two knives, four cell phones, and a woman’s handbag.
Adamson Bungei, the head of the Nairobi police, announced that they have started looking for the other suspect who escaped. According to him, they have increased patrols to deal with incidents of insecurity.
