Former deputy president Rigathi has urged Ndidi Nyoro to make his stand known in the Mt. Kenya region.
The Kiharu Member of Parliament has been silent since the motion for the impeachment was brought down into the National Assembly. He missed the voting session, which was conducted. He has since then failed to make any public appearance, and that has had people questioning whether he stands by Gachagua or Ruto.
While speaking to Inooro TV yesterday, Gachagua asked Nyoro to break his silence. “I want to urge Ndindi Nyoro to tell the good people of Kiharu constituency whether he is with his people or he is with the traitor,” he said. “I want to urge Ndindi Nyoro to tell the good people of Kiharu constituency whether he is with his people or he is with the traitor,” he concluded. “Make your stand about Mt. Kenya interests known. Your silence is not helpful. We want to know our numbers. Matters in the community are not for the silent,” Gachagua said.
Ndidi Nyoro is rumoured to be leaning towards the side of Gacchaggua, and analysts in recent weeks have noted he is likely to be expelled from the committee in Parliament.
