Raila Scolds DCI Over The IEBC Dossier Investigation

The head of Azimio, Raila Odinga, has dismissed rumors that his dossier on electoral fraud will be investigated by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.

Mohamed Amin cannot look into this problem, according to the ODM leader, because he is President William Ruto’s “employee.” With regard to a purported dossier by a whistle blower outlining how Raila was cheated out of victory, the DCI boss had written to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. Amin’s action was derided by Raila as being ineffective.

“DCI has stated that he wants to investigate,” Raila said. “I want to inform Amin that as a Ruto employee, you are not permitted to conduct any inquiry.”

Prior to his Jakaranda protest, he spoke on Sunday at a church service at Jesus Teaching Ministry. According to Raila, the opposition would work to get the IEBC servers unsealed so that the election results can be verified. We want the servers to be unlocked and the truth to be revealed, Raila remarked. The opposition leader said that Azimio’s assertions are not endangering the nation, but he also cautioned that they shouldn’t be bullied.

We are speaking civilly; we don’t want to fight, but we also don’t want to get threats. The justice that was robbed from Kenyans, he continued, is what they desire.

If servers are unlocked, according to Raila, they will show that he won the poll and that the data provided by the purported IEBC whistle blower are accurate. We want Ruto to concede defeat and leave the State House so that Baba may take control of it, Raila stated.
