Azimio la Umoja and ODM leader Raila Odinga, has on 16th March Thursday afternoon, reminded Kenyans to keep checking their calendar ahead of 20th grand protest.
This comes barely a week after the official launching of mass action against President William Ruto’s government.
Taking to his social media account, the former Prime Minister has made a simple post with a hashtag on the long awaited date.
“#DateWithDestiny20thMarch,” read in the post.
Among the grievances that are now prompting Azimio brigade to hold a mass action on 20th, as mentioned in their previous rally in Migori county, include high cost of living, high taxation, illegal reconstitution of IEBC commissioners and importation of GMO maize.
Earlier, Raila and his team gave 14-day-ultimatum to president Ruto’s government to consider the above mentioned grievances claiming that since starting his tenure as this country’s boss, things are revolving to the opposite direction.
