Raila Odinga Announces Signature Collection To Oust William Ruto

Azimio La Umoja party leader Raila Odinga has announced that they will start signature collection to oust Kenyan President William Ruto from office for burdening the citizens with a high cost of living and punitive taxes.

Raila spoke at Kamukunji grounds today, where he led thousands of protestors to agitate for reduction of cost of living among other demands, including the reconstitution of IEBC and the opening of servers. According to the former Prime Minister, Ruto’s regime has turned a blind eye on its citizens by raiding Azimio constituents’ parties and destabilizing Azimio La Umoja, weakening their strength to pass the punitive finance bill in parliament.

” We start a journey to collect 15 billion signatures to know who is with us. We will give power back to the common Mwananchi because the current regime has turned a blind eye to its citizens”, said Odinga.

Odinga called on his supporters to come out in large numbers to collect the signatures and to show the current administration that they are not worthy. He further called on them to march peacefully as they hold their demonstrations in the Nairobi CBD and the entire republic.
