Raila Odinga Alleges Assassination Attempt, Says Car Shot At 7 Times With Live Bullets

In today’s mass protest against the Kenya Kwanza government, Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga has allegedly accused the government for assassination attempt.

The opposition chief claimed that police officers are being used to take him out of this world after his car was shot at seven times with live bullets.

According to Mr. Odinga who was addressing the press conference post demonstrations at Karen, this current regime is focused to dragging the country speedily back into the pre-colonial era.

Further, the former Prime Minister termed their ongoing demos as a ‘peaceful’ one which is only disrupted by police brutal attack against demonstrators merely exercising their rights.

We condemn in the strongest terms possible what has happened today. Today is a very sad day in the history of this country. This shows that we’re degenerating into the colonial stage, where lives of Africans did not matter at all, because there’s no reason why police should use this kind of force against unarmed citizens who are merely exercising their democratic rights,” he said.
